What Does Your Toddler from 19 to 20 Months Like to Play With?
Your baby is maturing and consolidating everything learned so far. This is the stage of great maturity of gross motor skills. If you give your baby a spoon, they know how to eat and with a pencil they imitate strokes, first vertical and later horizontal. Puzzles start to interest them, and by testing and exploring, they can assemble puzzles with two or three pieces.
As for logical thinking, at this stage children develop the ability to play the symbolic game, i.e., they can imagine that a stone is an airplane and make it move through the air. This is an important milestone, because they discover that some objects can represent others without them being present. This type of thinking is the crux of abstract reasoning.
From the age of 18 months they are in the telegraphic language stage, which means that they begin to say more than two words, but they still don’t create sentences. As a result, it is sometimes difficult to understand them. Their vocabulary is still small, they master about fifteen words, but they can make themselves understood by pointing to objects or crying. They will imitate the words they hear from adults, and at this stage the “no” appears. It is a word that parents will hear a lot from the 20 month old baby, since it is used much more frequently than “yes”.
At this stage, your baby will develop the following skills:

To promote these skills, we offer you a box with a series of toys for your baby to start following the various stimuli.
Your baby better interprets the position of things in space; they know if something is up or down, inside or outside, empty or full, etc. They also understand the concept of big and small. Also, your child doesn't forget which toys are theirs, even if they try to take those that belong to other children!
