What Does Your Baby from 7 to 8 Months Like to Play With?
Each time they take things in their hands, it will be with more determination and strength. Your baby will concentrate on finding out the properties of their toys, and they are attracted to sounds and noises. Play and sing words to see if your baby can repeat them in their own way; you’ll see how your baby will copy and laugh at you, and move their whole body. At 7 months of age, baby experiences new emotions, and shows determination when they want a toy that is out of their reach - they will try to reach it anyway!
At this stage babies will fully enjoy social games such as "clapping hands" or looking and laughing in front of the mirror.
At this stage, your baby will develop the following skills:

At this stage, baby can already sit up by themselves. They can roll and rotate their body to the right and left. When lying on their back, babies often get up into the sitting position on their own, looking for things, and going for them. Their hands acquire skills such as grasping or dropping objects, depending on how interested they are. Their little fingers will function as clamps!
Now, your baby has more control in their hands and legs and this is an ideal stage to stimulate crawling, fine motor skills, and leg movements.

Object Permanence Box
Object permanence is used to describe a child's ability to know that objects continue to exist despite the fact that they can no longer be seen, heard or touched. It plays an important role in the theory of cognitive development.

Sensory Balls
As from this age, babies start playing with balls in a more conscious way and that is how they develop temporal awareness. This helps children to time and coordinate movements. Sensory balls allow babies to stimulate all their senses thanks to the different textures, shapes and colours. They can throw, roll, press or shake them, stimulating tactile exploration.
